About this house
Located close to the host's own home, the delightful 'Westland Hideaway' is a former stable building built from the flotsam and jetsam of sunken ships. It offers privacy thanks to its own garden and terrace, while the decor is a lovely mix of country, modern and cozy, with more flea market finds than IKEA furniture. On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen and living room with both a dining area and sofa area. Here, the transverse beams in the ceiling bear witness to the history of the house and create a warm coziness in the room. The living room opens onto the terrace and garden where you can enjoy the sun and the fresh West Sea air. On the first floor, the white-painted floors, walls and ceiling create bright living spaces that invite you to relax and contemplate. In the large lounge area you can enjoy a glass of wine and a good book in the two daybeds or hammock. This is also where you'll find the two bedrooms and bathroom. You can explore the wild and unique nature on the many hiking trails in the area, or take the kids for a swim or walk on the beautiful beach.
