Gøttrupgaard is an old family farm, and here the beautiful farmhouse has been decorated so that you can enjoy a relaxing vacation with the beautiful nature outside your door. Although there used to be animals on the farm, there are none today, and if you still want to see where the organic grass-fed milk from Thise comes from, you can take the walk to the neighboring farm, Hvanstrup, and watch the cows being milked.

Here you can clearly feel the wings of time in the beautiful buildings. The whole place is characterized by an enormous amount of space - there's room for play and big gestures, and there's room for a big family gathering with no less than 15 beds. The beds are distributed both on the ground floor and in the basement. The basement is bright and has access to the garden. A large double room has a double bed and three single beds, two of which can be pulled out into double beds - there is a doorway without a door between the two rooms. There are duvets and pillows for all sleeping areas in the house.

The farmhouse is decorated with second-hand items that play well with the history of the house. Most decades of the last century are represented in the decor, the choice of materials and the selected interior - everything has been chosen with care.

In one of the living rooms, you can lounge in front of the TV and enjoy a movie without disturbing the rest of the family. There's enough space for everyone to find peace and quiet to read books, knit or play games. On the ground floor there are several living rooms and the lovely kitchen has plenty of space for those who cook and those who entertain. Here you can enjoy the view from the window while doing the dishes. The kitchen oozes atmosphere with its fine pantry, large built-in display cabinet and the kitchen dining area with seating for six people. If you're traveling with the extended family or several families, the large dining room invites you to larger dinners with a view of the garden. Light streams in through the windows and envelops the room in sunshine.

The garden is filled with old, tall trees and there's plenty of space for games and play. If you like roasted marshmallows, you can light a fire and create a cozy moment around the fire. The outdoor dining areas are located on the high terraces, but can easily be taken down to the grass, so you can always find either a sun spot or a shady nook when the kids are playing hide and seek in the large garden.

When you're in the house, you feel like you've stepped back in time, and you get a sense of the life that such a farm used to offer in everyday life.
