This lovely holiday home is located in the protected heather area and on a beautiful natural plot. It's decorated with coziness in focus and can accommodate six overnight guests in two bedrooms and a small alcove in the living room for the children. The living room has a wood-burning stove and vaulted ceilings, giving the room air and spaciousness. In open connection with the living room is a newer kitchen-dining room with a coffee machine and everything you need to make great family dinners.

The large windows and patio doors open up to the magnificent nature just outside. You can enjoy the view of the heather-clad hills of Sindbjerg and Stoubbjerg from the terrace. The house is located close to the local train line that runs between Aarhus and Herning, which causes a few seconds of noise a few times an hour. In Nordskoven, just behind the cottage, there is some of the best terrain for mountain biking in Denmark. You can also go for a walk and get good exercise by climbing the two peaks in the protected heather area. There are many great experiences around Silkeborg's beautiful nature. Within a few minutes' walk there are two beautiful beaches by the Gudenåen called 'De små fisk' and 'Ladepladsen', and both Ålekroen and Ludvigslyst are good restaurants.
