About this house
Overlooking the estate's private park, the Countess' house is one of the most beautiful houses belonging to Engestofte Estate. The house has just been completely renovated with respect for history and with many fine details.
Inside, there are high ceilings and fine paneling on all the walls on the ground floor. The entire house sleeps 10-11 people in the various beautiful bedrooms. The large master bedroom even has its own bathroom and dressing room. In other words, the cottage can accommodate a large family.
There's also plenty of space in the kitchen for you to focus on being together. You can bake delicious bread or cook for the big Christmas dinner. If it's time to relax, you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the cozy library room or put on a movie in the TV room. The entire cottage is decorated with personal finds and old family photos.
From the outside you see a white-walled half-timbered house with a thatched roof and small mullioned windows. Here you can play hide and seek in the large, wild garden or enjoy the sunshine on the lawn or terrace, where there is also a barbecue.
From the jetty you can fish or launch your canoe, so a day on the water is also possible.
